Roderick K. Thomas, 61, entered eternal rest on May 9, 2018.  Roderick was preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother, Barry Thomas.  He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Arnice Thomas; parents, Isaac and Vivian Thomas; brother, Andre Thomas (Theodora); sister, Karen Williams (Michael); mother-in-law, Ora L. Jackson; brother-in-law, Orange Cauthen (Catherine); three godchildren, Myck, Courtney and Joshua; nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.  A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Hampton, 229 North King Street, Hampton, VA  23666.  Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.  Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Mr. Thomas will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church on Thursday.  O.
