Sarah Jordan's Obituary
Sarah L. Jordan, 97, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Theophilus Jordan.
She leaves to celebrate her life two special daughters, Mary Stallings and Peggy Winston; nephew, Stephen Jackson of Washington, DC; nieces, Ethel Kasham of Brooklyn, NY and Sharon Toomer of Carrollton, VA.
Celebration of Life service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2108 at New Grafton Baptist Church, 4401 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News by Rev. Dr. Michael L. Sumler. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to New Grafton Baptist Church in her honor. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
