Shameira L.
Hines
d. Oct 17, 2021
Shameira Lyna Hines was born December 1, 1983, to Marcia Williams and Morris Hines Jr. in Camden, New Jersey at Our Lady of Lourds Hospital. Shameira transcended to the afterlife on October 17, 2021. While living in Camden, she attended Camden High School. She was raised in Camden but moved to Newport News, Virginia shortly after she lost her first son, Dayquan Hines, who she loved dearly her entire life. In Virginia, Shameira started her beautiful family, who she loved with all her heart and gave the world to. She will be remembered for countless things
including her ability to brighten up any room she walked into with her mesmerizing personality and her amazing smile.
Proceeding her in death was her son, Dayquan Lamere Hines; her grandparents, Elizabeth Jones-Williams, Albert Williams, Morris Hines Sr., and Mary Boyer; her aunt, Antonia Williams; her cousins, Rashon Williams, Andrew Stanley, and Michael Williams.
Shameira will live on eternally through her family. She leaves to cherish her memory eight children, Sincere Hines, Aliyah Hines, Zimir Wright Jr., Lyna Hines, Makaila Harmon, Christin Harmon, Joanna Harmon, and Nyloni Harmon. She will also be remembered by her siblings, sisters, Tareeka Redd, Melissa Williams, her ride or die Yasheeka Hines, Grace Hines, and Nikeya Hines; and her three brothers, Westly Williams, Hahsheem Hines, and Philip Hines; her step-sister, DaJonet Burns; her eighteen nieces and nephews; along with her countless aunts and uncles, who will cherish every moment they had with her, as will her eleven great-nieces and nephews.
Shameira will be dearly missed but she would not want us to be sad. Instead, she would want us to celebrate her life, honor her name, and cherish the memories we were able to make during her time with us.
Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2021 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the funeral home. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
