Sharen Renee Allen entered eternal rest unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

Sharen was born to Joe N. and Inez D. Allen on June 19, 1964 in Newport News, VA.  She later relocated with her family to Hampton, VA where she attended Hampton City schools and Sarah Bonwell Hudgins.

Sharen was preceded in death by her parents; Joe and Inez Allen, maternal grandparents; Perl and Gussie Dotson, paternal grandparents; Whitt Allen and Daisy Allen Dickerson, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She leaves to cherish her memories siblings: Pearl Young (John) of Hampton, VA, Mary McNeill of Newport News, VA, Evelyn Golden (John) and Karen Allen (her twin) of Hampton, VA, Patrice Hussey (Darryl) of Chillicothe, OH, and Tarita Stonewall (Leland) of Newport News, VA; best friend, Cornelius "Cornie" and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024 at O. H. Smith and Son Funeral Home, 3009 Chestnut Avenue, Newport News, VA .  Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
