Shirley Marie Johnson was born May 16, 1941 in Southampton County, Virginia to the late Edward L. Everette, Sr. and Cora L. Everette and died March 4, 2017.

She leaves to mourn her two sons, Winston A. Johnson and Reginald C. Johnson; two daughters, Karen Johnson and Sterling Daye; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four brothers, four sisters, one maternal uncle, Roland Lamison; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2017 at O.H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
