Terrance S. Leonard "Terry", 59, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 4, 2023. He was born on March 3, 1964 to Margie R. Leonard and the late James W. Leonard, Sr. He was educated in Newport News Public Schools and graduated from Menchville High School in 1982. Terry was known for his light-hearted spirit and smooth demeanor. He will be remembered for the fun and laughs he brought to those around him.

Terry was preceded in death by his partner, Donna Lewis; father, James W. Leonard, Sr.; and brother, Kevin Leonard.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Margie R. Leonard of Newport News, VA; sisters, Jewel Bass (John) of Newport News, VA and Sandra Carney of Richmond, VA; and brother James Leonard, Jr of Urbanna, VA. He will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Terry's life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Restoration & Faith Kingdom Builders, 2114 Wickham Ave, Newport News, VA. Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the church. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
