Turesser "Tee" Graves-Pierce, 62, departed to her eternal resting place on May 23, 2024.  She was born in Newport News, Virginia, where she attended Warwick High School and was a member of the Warwick Raider family.

"Tee" was a Cleaning Technician and a former employee of the Holiday Inn 1776 in Williamsburg, Virginia.  Her expertise led her to establish her own cleaning business.  She was also an aspiring writer and had many other talents.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, George F. Graves and Mary E. Graves; husband, Charles W. Pierce; brothers, Ernest, George and Thomas Graves; sister, Chiquita L. Lewis; nephew, Trevino "Terry" Graves and her childhood friend, Cynthia "Cinnie" Graham.

Turesser leaves to mourn, 4 sons, Reggie L. Graves, Shederick O. Graves, Joseph D. Royal-Graves, Gerald Sincere U. Holloway-Graves; 2 daughters, LaTasha M. Graves and Jereisha C. Holloway-Graves; 9 grandchildren, Teazra "TT" Pope, Israel T. Wellons, Tyjere D. Wellons, Kiyah "Yaya" Graves, Ah'Myree T. Donovan-Graves "MyMy", Mechelle T. Royal, Josiah Royal, Brennan Fletcher-Graves and Aaliyah Graves; brothers, James Graves, Anthony Graves and Alfonso Graves; 2 childhood best friends, Rhonda Graham and Rosalind "RaRa" Gale; a host of nieces and nephews, family from Reidsville, NC and Danville, VA, along with her friends throughout the Hampton Roads area.

Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11a.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.   Interment will follow in Mt.
