It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tyrone V. Lee, Jr., affectionately known as "L.T." L.T. unexpectedly departed this earthly life on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

L.T. was a 2004 graduate of Heritage High School and played in the Hurricane's Marching Band. He loved fine things, cars, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Known for his humility and kind heart, L.T. enjoyed laughter and cherished his role as an uncle, especially with his nephew Karter, whom he adored and supported by attending his games and sporting events. He often spoiled Karter with love and gifts.

L.T. shared a special bond with his grandmother, Annie Lee Perrin, often accompanying her on errands and grocery shopping. He was a lovable and family-oriented person, spending time with his cousins dancing, line dancing, singing karaoke, and telling jokes to bring joy to those around him. For 19 years, he was employed as a Refueler at Huntington Ingalls Industries Department X43.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tyrone V. Lee; maternal grandmother, Annie Lee Perrin, who passed away just a day before him; paternal grandparents, Earnest E. Lee and Lucille C. Lee; uncles, Bobby Jones and Ernest L. Lee; aunts, Deloris Jones, Shirley Ann Jones, and Lunell Devita Vanae Barber; and cousin, John Ashley Tibbs.

L.T.'s memory is cherished by his mother, Donzella J. Lee; sister, DeShonna N. Lee; nephew, Karter Anthony; goddaughter, MacKenzie Stoops; aunts, Barbara Ann Tibbs (Larry), Ellen Jones, Armeke Smith (Otis), and Letress Wooden (Jimmy); the Richardson family; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
