Virginia "Virgie" O. Harrison , 84, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at home in Hampton, VA. She was born April 27,1941, to Pacifico Armentia Olivar and Arsenia Fernandez in Iligan City, Mindanao, Philippines.

She emigrated to the United States in 1969. She worked for Nomad Mfg. for several years as a sewing machine operator. She was known for being a favored babysitter and maintaining an impeccable manicure and pedicure before the last year of her life. She was also known to be a fighter and for her perseverance. Virgie became an official U.S. Citizen July 29, 1997.

She is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 28 years, Christopher A. Harrison; her daughter Shawn Johnson (Carlton) Green, and son Louis (Rebecca) Johnson; her grandchildren Carmen Johnson-Henry, James  and Carlton Green Jr; Madi, Tommy, Sebastian and Nico Johnson; her sister, Enriquita Magasura; her ex-husband, Louis W. Johnson Jr; and a host of extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her former mother in love, Violet Boone Williams.

There will be no services per Virgie's request. A private family gathering will be done in lieu of formal services to honor her memory.
