Watson R. McDaniel, 100 years old, formerly of 819-32nd Street, Newport News, Virginia, departed this life on June 7, 2018 in Signal Hill, California.
A homegoing celebration will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 6512 Carsley Road, Waverly, VA. Interment will follow in Byrd Family Cemetery, 2929 Carsley Road, Dendron, VA. Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m., Monday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church on Tuesday. O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
