Wilbur "Wil" M. Jones departed this life on Friday, September 29, 2017. A Homegoing Celebration will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Messiah Baptist Church, 1152- 24th Street, Newport News. Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m., Friday at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, in Wil's memory, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or the Autism Society of America Tidewater Virginia. O. H.
