William "Bro" Augburn Jr., 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Riverside Hospital. He was born in Halifax County, N.C. and moved to Virginia shortly thereafter. He was a graduate of Warwick High School Class of 1973, an Army veteran and proud soldier.

He was preceded in death by parents, Hazel and William "Ghost" Augburn, Sr. and three brothers, Lee A. Clark, Hilary L. Dickens and Dwayne M. Augburn.

He is survived by his mother, Lillie D. Augburn; four sisters, Patricia A. Augburn, Wanda E. Rogers (Keith), Valerie A. Walker and Pamela Jones; one brother, Gregory D. Augburn (Sheila); two sisters-in-law, Carolyn S. Dickens and Catherlena D. Clark; nine nieces, six nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 17, at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mary's Chapel Church Cemetery, Scotland Neck, N.C. Viewing will be from at 3-6 p.m., Friday, September 16, at the funeral home. O. H.
