1SG (Ret) William "Smoke" Jones, 71, passed peacefully into eternity with God on Sunday, February 25, 2018.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Newport News Shipbuilding retiree.
He leaves behind his wife, Evangelist Fredericka Jones; children, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, March 3rd at Emmanuel Chapel-Christ, 200 Hampton Roads Avenue, Hampton.  Viewing will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Friday at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  Interment will be at 11 a.m., Monday, March 5th at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
