William "Leon" Kelley was born on January 12, 1953 in Newport News, Virginia to the late Samuel and Earnest V. Kelley.  He was raised in Hampton, Virginia.  He departed peacefully into eternal rest on January 22, 2021.  He attended school in the city of Hampton.

He loved football, talking and flirting with the ladies at the nursing facilities that he has resided for the past 30+ years.  He was a joy to be around and lived a full life despite challenges.

William "Leon" Kelley was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Earnest V. Kelley and brother, Samuel M. Kelley.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Linda B. Kelley; uncle, McKinley Hayes; aunt, Julia Hayes; god brother, Charles "Charlie" Williams; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be from 3-6 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2021 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021 at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home.  Due to COVID 19 restrictions only 40 people will be permitted to attend the funeral service.  O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
