William Oliver Spiller, Jr. (Junie) entered this life May 28, 1956, in Newport News, Virginia. He departed this life on February 17, 2026, at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News. He was the son of William Oliver Spiller, Sr. and Armanda F. Spiller.  The family lived in Newsome Park, Newport News before moving to Hampton, Virginia.

William attended public schools in Newport News. He also participated in Job Corps, a residential job training program. William was a private person who generally did not like to talk about himself or his disability. Despite his private nature, he was a social person who never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor.   William loved to tell jokes, tease his sisters, and talk about the cultural history of his community.

Though he had limited work experience; over the years, William participated in a variety of personal growth classes and training programs.

William was a man of faith who enjoyed learning about different religions. He loved listening to all types of music and watching sports - football and basketball being his favorites. He also enjoyed walking as his form of exercise.

William leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters Anita S. Edwards and Sherry L. Spiller (Chesterfield, Virginia), two aunts: Thelma Spiller (Hampton, Virginia), Marion Faison (Baltimore, Maryland), and a host of cousins and friends.
