Woodrow J. Jackson passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janet H. Jackson; son, Anthony Robinson of Richmond, VA; brothers, Thomas Jackson of Seat Pleasant, MD and James Jackson (Evelyn) of Petersburg, VA; sisters-in-law, Claudine Jackson of Stoney Creek, VA, Julia Hill of Newport News, VA, Jeraldine Hill of Hampton, VA, Joyce Turner (John) of Wakefield, VA and Jessie Davis of Brooklyn, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 at First Baptist Church East End, N.N. Entombment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 1-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Friday. O.H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
